Born and raised just outside D.C. in Maryland, I now call the beautiful foothills of Boulder, Colorado, my home. With the mountains right at my doorstep, it's the ultimate playground. When I’m not out hiking, skiing, or chasing my Australian Shepherd, Camden, through the woods, you’ll find me exploring every inch of this awe-inspiring state, all while capturing it on my handy $2 film camera I got at an estate sale. The outdoors truly fuels my creativity and keeps me grounded, always inspiring new ideas.

Creativity has always been at the heart of who I am. I’ve always loved working with my hands, whether it’s designing a room, planning an event, or diving into a DIY project. I’ve never been the type to shy away from a challenge or from trying something new. In fact, sometimes I even hand-draw with a pencil (I know, shocking these days). It’s this hands-on, tactile approach that has shaped my design philosophy from a very young age.

Looking back, it’s clear that I’ve been practicing design my entire life! As a kid, I spent hours creating posters for my imaginary “plays” using word art and designing menus for the “dinners” I was preparing in my pretend restaurant. It was during high school, when I was trying to figure out what career path to pursue, that I had the “aha” moment. Graphic design was already my life’s work. That same creative energy that drove me to make art as a child is what led me to where I am today: a passionate designer who thrives on crafting stories through visuals.

For me, design is more than just a career, it’s a way of life. It’s the way I see and experience the world around me. I love experimenting with color, typography, and imagery to create something that not only looks good but feels right. Whether I’m designing a brand identity, working on a website, or creating illustrations, I’m always thinking about the message I’m conveying and the emotional impact it will have. The power of design to communicate without words, whether through a logo or an entire brand experience, is something I find endlessly fascinating.

The beauty of design is in its infinite variety. No two projects are ever the same, and that’s what keeps me excited every day. The challenge of finding the perfect solution for each unique client, the process of watching an idea evolve from concept to completion is what drives me. I believe in the power of first impressions and how the right design can make a lasting impact. The joy of seeing my designs not just meet but exceed a client’s vision is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and evolve as a designer, and I’m excited to collaborate with like-minded people who share that same enthusiasm for creativity. Every project is a new adventure, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next!
